Account Manager

Job Description Summary: 
 
The Account Manager is responsible for providing legendary service to customers and prospects by anticipating their needs and finding creative solutions to the challenges of their business.  He/she will be responsible for building existing customer accounts and maximizing regional growth.  Candidates must have the ability to work an eight (8) hour shift Monday through Friday and up to two (2) Saturdays per month.  Shifts may start as early as 7AM and end as late as 8PM. Shifts are determined by the time zone of the assigned territory.
 
Job Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Answer incoming phone, email and chat inquiries from existing customers and prospective clients
  • Follow up daily with new and existing clients to increase client retention
  • Place orders over the telephone for national salon and spa clientele
  • Resolve any client issues or concerns in a timely manner
  • Ensure precise and accurate data entry related to sales, customer requests and customer issues
  • Conduct outbound call campaigns to educate and up-sell clients on new products and services to increase sales, making at least 350 outbound calls per month, averaging a minimum of 16 outgoing calls daily
  • Work as a team with a Territory Manager assigned to your territory with the goal of maximizing regional growth in new client acquisitions and current client reorders   
  • Engage customers utilizing your charismatic personality to build customer loyalty
  • Utilize your nurturing and generous attributes to ensure the customer is taken care of from initial contact, to closing and throughout the business relationship
  • Meet KPI Metrics set for Account Managers
  • Accurately document Salesforce records based on activities and actions taken
  • Complete other tasks, as assigned

Experience/Skills/Qualifications:

  • Broad knowledge and experience in Customer Service
  • Ambitious, Goal Driven, and possess a Positive Attitude
  • Above average written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent skills in working with Business to Business relationships.
  • Punctual and respectful of other’s schedules.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines in a timely manner.
  • Experience closing sales over the telephone, sales center experience a plus!
  • Degree or equivalent experience:
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, Word, and Excel
